“We are not a professional union, but together, we are a union of professionals!”
Advance! Accelerate! Achieve!
The Fire Technicians Network Training Institute (FTNTI) represents a significant milestone in the growth of our professional association, and one which will embrace a host of delivery technologies that will help to advance your career to the next level (and beyond). We’re also looking to partner with learning institutions across Canada to bring you the most comprehensive and ambitious educational experience; one that will feature hands-on, face-to-face training along with at-home, web-based instructional modules, and downloadable content. Along the way, you will have continued access to the most comprehensive fire protection equipment, service, and testing knowledge base in the known universe.
We want every technician to enjoy the benefits of a professional skill-set, and have the ability to maintain it at a level that will put you at the forefront of the building life safety technical community.
We’re going to take you to new heights faster than you could have imagined. We’ll help you to build confidence in your abilities and new-found knowledge.
Gain insight into cutting edge technology and leverage your knowledge and skill-set to achieve and remain at the pinnacle of your profession.
A DEDICATED CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE!
We’ve raised the bar in our educational and Certification initiatives, drawing inspiration from the many hundreds of individuals who passionately contribute to our industry, some of whom are even involved in developing the Codes and Standards we reference every day. Their collective knowledge represents the real foundation of our Canadian building life safety, fire prevention, and fire alarm service communities.
We hope to ignite a similar passion in all of our Technologist and Specialist Members and engage those individuals that have, up to now, felt themselves sidelined, under-appreciated, and taken advantage of.
We are not a professional union, but together, we are a union of professionals!
What we’re all about! We are not affiliated with ASTTBC, CFAA, CANASA, NFPA, NAFED, or NICET (although we encourage you to explore and objectively evaluate the benefits associated with supporting their individual efforts). Membership in the Fire Technicians Network is entirely voluntary. Are you up to the challenge of demonstrating your commitment to public safety and the highest standard of professional practice? JOIN US! And let us help take your career to the next level!
